2010, a good year

HELLO 2010!

It's 4thJan2010 now, and I made a sudden decision to revisit this place of smiles and use this as a personal place to store all memories; good or bad, high and lows, raves or rants. (Hopefully all good, high, raves!) My mind isn't capable of storing memories well. They slip out always, and never come back until someone bring them back to me again. Sometimes even good memories seem vague in my mind. Sucks.

Anyway, I've decided to make some posts be gone from here, either because they are not important anymore or seem silly now. Cuz afterall, things change, feelings change, people change. But some memories or random thoughts I had before should still have their place here.

2009 flew past sooo fast. Eventful, smooth, happy, filled with smiles. The last post here was in 2008 and nothing written for the whole of 2009. Last post of 2008 was with many pictures of baby Kayden.. But 'baby' is no longer an appropriate word to describe Kayden anymore.. He had his 1st birthday in Sept 2009 and now growing so fast as time passes by so quickly. But still, as cute as ever! To me, he's really the cutest boyboy I've ever seen, and no, I'm not biased cuz he's my nephew.. He's really soooooo cute.

Bf in 2008 and 2009, but ex-bf in 2010. But everything is still the same, this did not make my 2009 disastrous. Good and bad memories yes, and they will always be remembered. 'Love' is a great feeling for everyone, and everyone wants and need it. But my 'love' here isn't referring to relationship. Love comes from many other sources and not only from a relationship. I realised, I don't need a relationship and I don't want one as yet. I know it's something which cannot be controlled, but at this point of time, I'm rather sure I won't be having another r/s for a loooong time. My poly friend said, "life is short, and relationships are a waste of time." I don't know why, but I sort of agree to this. But still, not everyone think so.

Other than love, there are many things which can make me really happy. Simple things; dramas, k-pop, 'star-strucked', clubbing (oops), online shopping, ♥ to ♥ talks, and even eating buffet. JOY! :D I'm happy.

I don't wish to think of what would make me unhappy but there's really something I really really hate. EXAMS! HATE EXAMS! Shirou. Maximum.

Long post, first post of 2010. Start of a new great year ahead. A happy year filled with fun laughter peace and joy, and LOVE!

A few weeks back, I had another high day out. I wonder why I could only backtrack and update on the events that happened so long ago till the extend those involved might even have forgotten about it, then here I am trying to travel back in time. I figured out it's just hard for me to update everyday, not that I dislike writing, but when I'm online, it seems that there would be a hundred and one things I want to do!

Back then, we were all hyped up after dinner for our zouk night. But after zk received a call, our faces wrote 'low'. Zouk was 38 bucks that night due to affliation with F1. We were not frequent clubbers, plus the thought of bring sandwiched (even more than usual) among unfamiliar & wild faces, we decided against sticking to our plan. In the end, we went m.o.s with slightly low spirits, but I guess we realised, what matters isn't the place, but the people.

We enjoyed, so much!

Erm. You might be thinking why am I here, but yea. FYI, I'm finally back to visit this old shack! This abandoned one. I mean. Temporary abandoned one. Oops.

I was supposed to be so HIGH and can't wait to share my taiwan trip here, but apparently, I was still ever busy (self-proclaimed) as can be. And now, it has been 1month+1week that I'm back to reality but I didn't want to wake up afterall. Taiwan trip was indescribable like a dream I'll never want to wake up. Am I exaggerating too much?

Apart from missing him, I totally enjoyed the whole trip like one can't imagine. I know, I'm blessed. This group of friends standing in the mid-point of close --- unfamiliar, I truly appreciate. Despite being drowned in our own lives now, we'll never forget all that we ever had there. Disagreements there might be, or unhappiness, exhaustion, or other -i-better-don't-remember- incidents, are engraved in my memory. What more the fun, crazy and hilarious moments; the expectations, fulfillments, togetherness.

We had a fair share of the sea breeze, the sunset, snockelling, scooter-ing, biking, dolphin chasing, the 温泉, the breathtaking sceneries, 疯狂 and more 疯狂 shopping, the scary theme park rides, the massive phototakings;

getting high over taiwan tv shows, or special 'dramas' u can say,
the pretties and handsomes in taiwan (though the singles had a larger share of this with no considerations needed);

cup noodle feasts, bubble tea feasts, 鸡排, or even pigs' blood (though our very own 'tai ke' had the biggest share in this);

Ok I should stop the list here first in case people start closing this window. Main point, you name it, we did it.

But there's this thing I really can't get enough of it. That is, I've never seen any other sight more beautiful than the sky in taiwan's 绿岛. The sky is being filled with bright and shining stars fighting for their own space to show what they've got. FILLED with. Only there and then that I know stars do shine! Awe-inspiring sight man! This I had the biggest share. For the whole time on the scooter, my neck never had a 180degrees angle.

"很美！你看！快点看！真的！" - was all that was audible from me then.
"If 我看，我们就 buang 了." - came the 'chauffeur' who claimed to be pitiful scooter-ing me.

Afterall, stars could never be enough for me!

OMG I haven't been here at this place for like.. near 3 weeks? Time just passes so fast.

I'm just someone who doesn't know how to manage time at all. Just like how I don't know how to prioritise. Why am I like that! Not knowing when to work, when to meet friends, when to meet him, when to stay home, when to play and when not to. Then I'll only realise the uber seriousness when these things clash. Despite the frequent quarrels with so many people regarding this problem of mine, I still didn't change! I'm too slow, but I now know, it's time.

Life has been rather peaceful for me lately. Too peaceful in fact.
Nevertheless, I'm still the happy grace. Happy working my happy job.
I'm still seeing pasta and pizza more than anything, not intending to look for any full-time dreadful jobs to tie me down, yet.

My mind couldn't be filled up with any other things except for taiwan, taiwan and TAIWAN. But I still know somehow, this is just an excuse for me to run away from reality of my next phase of life.

But, life is too short for worries. So ENJOY first. Why not?

Though there's still 2 months plus till then, but.... I just can't wait.

西门町. (: oooh just shop. then shop, and shop again.

士林 night market. (: where it'll be heaven for me, then I'll turn 8".

I'll be going to 泡汤，I'll be seeing all sorts of dolphins in the middle of the big ocean, I'l be knowing about the 原住民 people who can sing so well, then visiting the farms away from the busy towns, then 放天灯, go snorkeling, JEEP experience, hello kitty ferris wheel, theme park....

and much more. Could anyone not get excited about these?
But what's most important?
Eating and shopping!

These few days quite a number of events took place, and some were really important to me! Have been rather busy with all these stuff!

On 18th, I went for the long awaited D&D, which was at chijmes. And I always couldn't seem to get this 'chijmes' word spelled correctly. 'Le Baroque' was the restaurant/bar/dance place for our d&d, and clearly, the place wasn't big enough to accomodate so many of us in it. But well, afterall, the people counts.

I seriously truthfully undoubtedly love them!

The 9 of us shared our bond and been through much rain and shine, fun and laughter no matter in work or our lives. From singles to couples, from colleagues to good friends, from close friends to near-strangers, kiddy to matured, studying to working, getting peanuts-pay to peas-pay. That much we've been through and will we continue to go through more? Though we'll soon be carrying on to lead our own lives soon, but we shall work hard for it.

Why have I worked so long here and still working now, I just love it there.
The managers, chefs, cooks, staff, the place, customers, everything! :)
Though you can tell me the pay is pathetically little (and I agree too), but, all the other factors outweigh this by so much.

Visit me often yea! :D

Heh. Despite all the 'wow's, it wasn't that good a day for me!
:( My clutch was kind of soaked after leaving it near the basin;
:( Bad with fake eyelashes;
:( Dropped my chopsticks on the floor twice while dining;
:( Legs hurt so badly that I can't even walk properly;
:( Dropped my prata while dining at spice;
:( Had the worst teh-peng I've ever drank in my life;
:( Being totally ruthlessly rudely ignored by a staff there when I just wanted to ask about ahdai's prata;

and lastly I really don't want to think back again of this...
:((( Fell down on my butt on some stair steps in zouk.
But thankfully the guys are there to lend me their strong helping hands. :)

At the end of the day, my leg hurts, my butt hurts x n , my eyes hurts.

But,

All those bad things come to nothing, as compared to the great day spent with you guys.
I'll miss all of you lotsssss and this is not the end,
we'll have so much fun in our chalet yea!
